Editing is where intention becomes art. It’s where I take raw images, moments caught in chaos, and shape them into something meaningful. Through my lens, see the leashes and people. My computer sees what the image can be.
Through my lens: I’m not chasing side view photo. I’m watching for connection through my lens. I want the dog to look into my camera. For atleast one shot. I want personality. I want soulful eyes.
Anyone can take a photo. But the person behind the lens must recognize body language.
When I’m photographing, I’m watching the dog. The animal in front of me tells me everything I need to know.
I replay sessions in my mind. I zoom in on details others may never notice. I adjust, refine, and sometimes redo because I know what the image can become. Through my lens....
