Christmas Pet Portraits – Not Yet! 🎄🐾

If you've been wondering whether we'll be offering Christmas pet portraits this year, the answer is a big YES! …just not in July. 😊


We've been receiving lots of emails and messages asking about Christmas portraits, Christmas in July, and will I have a Pets with Santa event. We absolutely love that so many of you look forward to these traditions each year, so we wanted to share a little update.


For the first time in many years, I made a conscious decision to step away from Christmas planning during the Winter, Spring and Summer of 2026. Planning our holiday sessions is a lot of work, and this year I wanted to give myself permission to pause for a while.

Normally, by now I'm already thinking about backdrops, props, scheduling, and all the little details that make the holidays so magical. But this year, I decided to do something different.


I've been spending some much-needed time with my family, enjoying my own dogs, and focusing on my health. I'm happy to share that I'm 42 pounds down on my journey! 🎉 I'll even brag a little more...I've dropped almost four clothing sizes. TMI? Maybe. 😄 But it's been a tough journey, and I think I've earned a little bragging rights. I still have a ways to go - goal is to be healthy.


So...don't worry!


🎄 Deck the Paws Christmas Portraits Are Coming


Christmas portraits are absolutely returning this year. Watch for the announcement of Deck the Paws Christmas Portraits sometime in September or October, when booking officially opens.


As always, these sessions will be very limited. When all session spots are full, that's it, we won't be adding additional dates. So if Christmas portraits are on your wish list, you'll want to have your PAWS raised and be ready to hit that "Book Now" button when reservations open!



And yes...I've been dropping hints about this at just about every session! 😉


🎅 And What About Pets with Santa?


We've also been getting lots of questions about Pets with Santa event.


Let's just say...we have something BIG in the works.


That's all we're saying for now. 😉


We're chasing our tails to share the details, but you'll have to wait just a little longer. We promise it'll be worth it!
